I have a 00 Cherokee that has been sitting in my yard for a dozen years or so and i got it all in working order after a couple years and did all new ball joints and brake lines and pads/ shoes. I want to eventually lift it but it is (of course) basically rusted out. Rockers, floor boards and frame all have detrimental rust. I have a daily driver so i dont need it for a while so I'm am going to do a full restoration because it was basically my first car and Im attached. Anyone have any tips because I've never gone this in depth with a jeep. Im going to cut the floor boards out and patch the frame and put in stiffeners and new floor pans and cut and patch any rust i can find and sandblast any part I can get out. And I'm going to lift after onto a rough country 6 or 4.5 depending on what I can afford.
