Yes, and
Yes. I guess I'm a lucky one.
Give it time. They're releasing this "new" vehicle called the Wagoneer(even if it looks just like a Commander). In a couple of years, maybe they'll think of another "new" one and call it a Cherokee.
This I take offense to, being one. And, no, not an abomination. Although I do want to push them into intersections when I get stuck behind them.
My complaint:fixing whatever is broken only to find something else wrong and realizing you're out of money and daylight.

Ok, so far with my '96 Xj;
A rear hatch that won't stay up when it's cold out
No freaking cup holders
Low (numerically) factory gear ratios, now that i have 31's on it i can do 60mph in 2nd gear (it's a 5 speed manual)
And the worst so far, pulling up beside some young punk in a 4" body lifted, blinged out Wrangler and he's looking down at me physically and literally, lol.
But on the bright side, all of those are things that i can change.

It buggs me when you could have a dope *** xj right next to a completely stock tj, and the average person just assumes the tj is better and cooler, even though their ugly as f***. (=

when people call my jeep a car.
when people say you shouldnt lift any jeep but a wrangler.
when people say my jeep isnt a true jeep.
when i see people in cherokees that dont know its true powers (moms that buy them because you can get them so cheap)
when one of my friends say they got a cherokee and then they have a grand cherokee
people who think the new jeeps are better because all of the chrome and leather
in the morning how my brakes throw me into the dash.
when its cold how everything in my jeep squeaks
how i cant loosen a bolt to save my life cause everything is rusted together.

i dont know about some of you but i dont really have all these problems except for the rear hatch and occasional squeal after muddin(only last for a few minutes though)
Good luch running wider then stock tires with aluminium wheels...
I hate how I get heat soak on my injectors
How bad my heater core smells
How hard it is to get the headlights pointing the right direction(2000)

think every one got all mine (and some I dont have....yet) Personally I take offense to the torques head bolts. In particular the two that used to hold in my sway bar end links. That is until I had to cut them, torch them, and then finally use an air chisle with 150 psi to forced the mangled remains out to get my new quick disco in.

the useless headlights, the fact you have to blast the radio to drown out the tons of squeeks from everything, the completely useless rear speakers, and that bottom alternator like the guy said, i lost my alternator last time i was out wheeling :P

My pet peeve is no way to pop open the hatch from inside. Sucks when you're bumper high in mud and need to hook up the strap. You have to walk along the rock sliders and tires to try to reach the latch handle hanging from the roof racks.
You could easily go through the cargo area once you climb over the toolbox and extra parts.
