The Peep's been here before, just rolled over 570000km (35300+ mi). Fresh roof rack, workin on the new HiPo lite bar and front stinger, and a set of SB disconnects will help, stainless is painless. Thanks forposting some geat lookin Laredos on this thread.

I spent a year rebuilding the XJ from front to back, inside and out.
I had the original engine rebuilt by a local 4.0 expert including boring .040, decking the block and milling the head. He gave it a 3 angle valve job. I rebuilt the NP 231 with new chain/seals then added a AA SYE. I dumped the D-35 for a 29 spline 8.25 w/Detroit TruTrac that I built myself(I do my own gear set-ups). The front disco D-30 went bye-bye and a 99 HP D-30 took its place, both axles are geared 4.10.
It has the 96 "dual diaphragm" booster upgrade and "open system" cooling upgrade with dual electric XJ fans.
It has new interior including carpet/headliner, Nav system, iPod compatible stereo and Remote Start.
The lift is all homebrew. The leafs are bastard packed XJ leaves, front springs are OME HD with spacers. All for a total of 2.5" lift.
I have a set of TJ Canyons with 30x9.5 BFG AT KO's
The paint is new.
The only thing left that is original and untouched is the AW4!

Doing the Same just painting all the bumpers, and i got a blacked out grill from another xj that im going to paint the top of and black out behind the lights, i hate chrome -_-
It is funny though back in 89 the chrome/lerado was more expensive and was thought to look better, But No... No go
the sports with all black accents and the red line threw the bumpers i think looks sick,
