I am new to this forum but I am supposed to pick this XJ up Friday and I have absolutely no idea what it is. It has a 4.0 and is 4 wheel drive. The gentleman believes it is a 97. Any insight on what this is would be much appreciated.

Funky looking guy, Guy thats building my stroker and turbo is actually building one of these but with an actual camper on the back. not my cup of tea but aye its neat!

It's definitely not a 97. Maybe a 96.

3rd one I've seen come to the forum. It's a pretty cool conversion. Check for rust. They always seem to rust

 

Its a 96 the only year they made them,Look at the link i posted you can see inside the raised roof has a tv in it.
