charleston breachway
you can get 3 day passes for pretty cheap.
lots of rules you have to follow too. not really a wheeling destination, just nice to be able to park your rig by the water and do what you normally would do at a beach, with much less crowds.

I'll air down to 16lbs and not have to use 4x4. There is one incline at the end of the beach but with a good steady speed I can make it up with out digging down.
I've been down on the beaches in OBX, specifically Rodanthe. Your sand is much harder packed then here. We compare our sand to sugar here.
I love to see people stuck, good or bad people. The fist thing I'll ask is if they have a permit, if not I keep driving. If they do then I check their air pressure. Not enough people realize how much it helps.
Yeah further south the sand gets pretty hard packed. I am further north up in Kill Devil Hills though. For some reason it stays pretty soft and "powdery" unless it stays really dry for a couple weeks.
I ate at a really good steak house there, JK's.
Place was really good but not what we were looking for.
It was the last night of a week long drunkin stay in Rodanthe, We walked in smelly, sun burnt and drunk. The look on our waitresses face was priceless when we broke out our NY accent. LOL but we had great service and an even better steak.
P.S dont eat at Hot Tuna's in Rodanthe, you might not make it out alive.

LOL yeah JK's is pretty good. Black Pelican is awesome. I don't think I have ever eaten at any resteraunt down that way, not until Okracoke over at Howards Pub.

I once lived in Patchogue, funny.
Your home is very cool, a lot of tourism though.
