Default The XJ antagonist.

If the XJ had an antagonist. Unrelated to the jeep family, what would it be? I'm talking the XJ's #1 contender.

I would have to say maybe the Toyota Land Cruiser. Specifically the 80 series... Then Again, I don't know much about other SUV's.

WD21-gen Nissan Pathfinder. Looks most like an XJ and I almost bought one...

That looks like an XJ front suspension under that Nissan.

The first gen Explorer is pretty closse to an XJ, but not nearly as good offroad as an XJ though.

TJ takes it in my book. Lots of shared parts and loads of people lifting them to 4.5" on 33's daily driver

My friend has one. Nice on road, everything about them is bad for offroad IMO, horrible approach and departure and breakover angles, expensive parts ect ect.

It's got to be the Toyota 4 Runner imo, nothing else has ever been as popular (especially in the offroad community) as the 4 Runner and Cherokee.

All the Wranglers except for the JK. They can handle bigger tires on a stock suspension and are the most popular off road vehicle around here by far. Both my uncles have Wranglers, one has a CJ and one has a TJ, me best friend has a YJ, everyone loves them except most XJ owners from what I see

I can see the familiar lines of the XJ in the knockoff's put together by Yota and Misson.
