Hat makes the xj so desirable over all the other Cherokee models ?

I love jeeps but I think the Wrangler is the cliche 4x4...

 

Wrangler seems to be more a standard deviation for Offroading I mean I plane on getting one but not for a while because Cherokees are just so much fun as is

as opposed to grand cherokees or fullsize cherokees or what?

they are all desirable to the right person.

xjs have simplicity and affordability going for them.

 

I like Cherokees, and Grand's are the same thing just nicer, obviously. I have 267k on one, and 214k on the other. They do well off road, they last, they're cheap, they look good and they fit all 3 car seats in the back seat

xj is good because it has a huge aftermarket and it seats 5 with cargo room so it makes a perfect dual purpose DD/warrior

Agreed I haven't decided if when I get it to chop the top and make it a minni truck or something along the lines of a baja truck or just leave it and jack it up high with big tiers and bumpers/winch

 

I fell in love with mine for all the normal reasons, but was surprised how light the XJ actually is.
