Default Wrangler handle on Cherokee?

I searched, but i couldn't find anything at all about this paticular topic. I was wondering how the grab bar above the glove box is attached, in Wranglers. I was thinking it would be nice to have something like that in my Cherokee. Anyone know if that would be possible or have any info on it? Any and all help is appreciated as always!

Well, i think dimension wise it would fit, because i'm pretty sure the dash is the same. However, i'm not sure how the bar attaches or is secured.

I wonder if there is even enough strength in the dash to hold the grab bar. Sure is a lot of plastic, how far back would have to go to reach metal?

So who wants to go put holes in their dash to find out?

The older ones may work, but isn't that where the passenger airbag is?

Well the airbag in the Wrangler is in the exact same place as the Cherokee, that's what made me wonder.

if you can tie into the metal supports for the dash, then yea it should work.
