Is this worth the price?

I can get a Dana 44 with 4.11's from a 2.5 cylinder cherokee for $75. Would this be a direct swap other than replacing the front gears and would I need a new driveshaft?

I don't think the D44 came in the 4 cylinder Cherokees.

I don't think they did either. The D44 was kind of rare in XJ's, from my understanding, and they came with the tow package. It probably has a D35.

ya unless he swapped it in, its prbly not a 44. they were only available in 87-90 with tow packages
