I can get a Dana 44 with 4.11's from a 2.5 cylinder cherokee for $75. Would this be a direct swap other than replacing the front gears and would I need a new driveshaft?

IF and I mean IF it's a 44 then god yes it's worth $75
But an 85 should have had a AMC 20 not a 44 for the "beefy" rear end of the time.
