Default Wonky guages...

So I started the Jeep this morning (cold *** Iowa morning), and it's running a little rough due to a messed up O2 sensor. The internals/wiring is loose, but its seized up so I haven't had a chance to mess with changing it yet. I don't know if that might have anything to do with it, but after it sat for a second this morning the RPM gauge shut off. The Jeep was still running, but the gauge stopped. Also, the fuel light came on, but at the same time the needle climbed slowly up all the way past the full mark. It all went back to normal after a bit, but it was a little disconcerting.
I'm pretty sure the fuel pump is starting to go since I have to prime it a bunch to get a decent start. Could that have something to do with it? Is it maybe electrical?
Any help appreciated.

I always try the simplest solution first, (cause I'm smart...........no wait, actually it's cause I'm lazy), so I would clean the contacts at the back of the gauge cluster, where the harness plugs in.

Oh, and also, sometimes after I start it, it idles a bit rough and tries to die a couple times. It doesn't sputter, just loses power momentarily. Just started doing it recently. It's either the O2 sensor or the cold is affecting something else.
And when I get up to 55 the rpms jump from like 1800 to 2200 then back a couple times without me changing pressure on the pedal.
