Is the Wj as reliable as the Xj?

Mine's an SE, but had the V8 and tow package. So I've got the D44a in the rear. I've heard mixed reviews about that. Maybe I'll just get a stronger aftermarket diff cover and leave it at that.
Wish I had the auto dimming mirrors, going to see if I can get a wire harness out of another WJ that had that feature so I can get an auto dimming side mirror. I work 2nd shift, so do a lot of night driving and everyone driving new cars with LED headlights are blinding me!
When I do finally retire my WJ from daily driving duties and decide to only use it for trail riding, I'd like to get a winch for the front. But I haven't found a bumper I like yet. Any suggestions?

My goal for the wj is gonna be daily driver and light trails (basically to get to a campsite or trailhead for hiking). I have found a 2004 with 55,000 miles owned by an elderly old man with an NRA sticker on the window haha. Hopefully she will treat me well. Looking forward to starting a build thread soon.
