Wiring harness effecting odometer?

Wiring harness effecting odometer?
Would any of the radio wiring harness wires effect my dome light or odometer from coming on? I took out my deck because im replacing it and replacing the harness as well, nothing new is connected yet, but now my dome light and odometer wont come on... is there a reason for this?
