Default Winter is over...finally!

Weather has been great this winter and spring has arrvived early.

So how did everyone's Jeeps do over the winter...any serious catasrophes? I hope no one had any major problems or accidents.

Ours was pretty good...nothing serious failure wise. My 97 Gr Cher spit out a starter sometime in December...1st cold night was not good for it. Water has somehow gotten in the solenoid and froze up tight. Darn reman's anyway. Ohhhh the worst of winter I had to deal with a leaky heater core...that was not fun cruising with the windows down to let the vapor out....arghhhhh. Poor thing VC in t-case is on its way out. Going to do up a part time t-case soon.

Handed down the ol Gr Cher to the college boy. The old girl decided it was needing a new battery so he needed a cpl jumps here n there. Didn't help forgetting to turn lights off...ya think I would have found the chime box and replaced when I drove it...nahhhhh/ Anyway that ol girl has got 278K on original motor and trans now...T-case was swapped out a few yrs ago.

Colorado needs more snow. There is already some fires in the mountains. One of our trails got shut down already because of it.

She spent most of it parked (January/February and part of March) due to buying a Honda and saved some gas money! lol. But the salt definitely wasn't any good for the already rusty rockers..
