Does anybody remember the static cling tint strips you used to be able to get to go across the top of the windshield?
I've been looking everywhere and nobody seems to carry them anymore. I need one because the OE one on my windshield has severely faded and it's a PITA to try to see traffic lights with my sun visors down.

 

It's not because of the windshield tint strip being discontinued, but more likely because the Jeep Cherokee has been discontinued. I Googled and found a ton of them for other Jeeps like Wranglers and Libertys; Cherokees nowhere to be found.

I would recommend just doing an aftermarket tint at a shop anyhow.

Mine is made into the glass as well but, it's narrow and very faded. The aftermarket static cling tint strip is what I'm looking for. Once upon a time, you could get them at your local parts store or even Wal-Mart. They were reusable and usually about 5 or 6 inches tall and the length was universal, you simply had to trim off the excess with a razor blade.

I haven't had any luck finding one locally so I started looking online after I made my OP. I found one online store that sells them, precut for $19.99.
