My XRC8 has been great for the price i paid. Only trouble is not going to free spool. I have read it's something with the thickness of the grease smittybilt uses? Overall great winch for the money, i use it weekly.

 

Thanks for all the great info. Lots of Budget winches out there, this is going to be a hard choice. Keep the info coming and I will keep doing research so I get the best winch for my money.

Any thoughts on Rugged Ridge?
