It should be good. Plus there is a warranty and R.C. is good about warranty issues so you really can't go wrong. We have some coming in to see what they look like/how well they work. I will possibly do a write up on here about it.

 

I think that winch looks great, but there is cheaper ones out there

Thats a nice winch I was im looking at a mile marker 8,000 lb winch
for around $300 but I dont know the quality of the product.

 

That looks like a great buy! The winch is 9500 lbs and the top layer is rated to 5700 lbs so you should have no problems winching the Cherokee. It already has synthetic line on it which usually costs between 200 and 400 dollars, and it comes with a wireless remote, and the warranty is two years mechanical and one electrical. Best buy, I've seen on a 9500 lb winch with a warranty.

 

I bought an xrc8 from summit racing for $268.99 shipped. I do like the synthetic rope on the one listed above though

 

I am anxious to hear your reviews after some heavy winching and water holes. I have never had a winch personally but have several friends with different ones and so far my vicarious experience has lead me to believe you get what you pay for. The exception so far has been Tony's XRC which he has used a few times with no issues I am however digging the fact that this one comes loaded with synthetic line.

 

google Titan Winch, got a great deal on a TW12000 last summer, winch and accessories under $600 cdn.
