And cheep tires? Treadrights dont sell 33's on 15's
The RE 5.5" extreme duty long arm kit comes complete withe everything you need, minus shocks. I went with the RE mono tubes, very nice ride. I did a SYE kit. 96 Grand Cherokee front shaft, with 6° wedges on the leafs. I love it. Oh! I did the 7.5" springs on front. Heres a few pics. Even comes with steering brace.Originally Posted by UsmclovesXJ

Id opt for IRO or RE. they seem to be very high quality parts. Can you give me some info on shimming the rear djkcon09? As for the 15'' wheels, couldn't you just go up to 16's or 17's for treadwrights?Originally Posted by djkcon09

Shims, or "wedges" are used to correct the angle of the pinion and drive shaft. Ended up, 6° was a little overkill, 4° slit the difference and was just right.Originally Posted by 94XjSport94

doesnt matter what shocks you have, going with a short arm kit on a 5.5 or 6.5 inch lift is gunna ride like a dump truck. Iro's 5.5" long arm is only 1300 bucks or so. well worth the extra 300. I run it and I had the rc lift you showed in my old jeep and it rode like crap. the iro long arm is actually an improvment from stock, and is super strong. everything about it is built for over kill. If you install it right, it will hold up well. obviously every kit will break for someone, but it is a really beefy, well priced, nice riding and very complete kit with alot of upgrade choices available. take it from someone who has had the rc kit, get the IRO hands down. and if you can afford the extra 300 bucks for the long arm, that is a 100% gain

Thanks! I had the general idea of what they are and what they're used for but that's a good picture too. Where do most go?Originally Posted by djkcon09
