Because they can pull a wrangler up a trail or toe them on a trailer.

I love my xj because I drive down the trail in style! crank up the air and stereo
also I have a six foot wide 8 foot long solid side camper trailer with the same ground clearance as the Jeep I love to see there faces wen i pull up with my house ! the trailer will usually go where the jeep goes. I love camping . Rick jeeps rule!

Im trying to find an XJ now between the years 97-99. My friend has one and I got hooked. I love the fact that you could pretty much go anywhere and dont have to worry about speed bumps and hitting potholes. I just sold my Infiniti to get a Jeep and havent found the right one yet.

Heres a couple pictures I took of my G35 before I sold it... man I miss her but was tired of scraping reflectors of the road.

Cheap, easy to work on, reliable, plenty of Xjs in the bone yard, the 4.0l, Strong after market support, and downright SEXY!

Was raised in a GM town and had all GM for many years, crossed over to the Chrysler products almost 15 years ago. My 89 is on of those transition years as I still find components with the AMC markings, my Renix is a hangover from AMC and truly amazing. Never had this kind of miles on any previous vehicle (GM 305 SB was close). I run an XJ because it just won't stop runnin me.
