Aftermarket LCA's will be longer to preserve your caster angle for steering and alignment geometry. Also, if your LCA is straight for a large lift, you will get binding if you flex your front suspension much. Camber out of spec will ensure death wobble in your front end.

long control arm kits usually have straight ones just because theyre long enough to cut down the angle but short arms tend to
Be bent or adjustable for larger kits so that they don't bind and so to keep everything in alignment better.
