Wow! is that salt water corrosion?
Just get some S10 leafs, cut 'em
(Writeup:http://webpages.charter.net/laurajef...0_pack_PDF.pdf)
and if that AAL still has some arch, throw that in there too! You should net 4-4.5 maybe more?

My <$.02, Yes you get what you pay for, but. IMO Skyhacker and Rancho OK for full size rigs or Mall Crawlers. Rubicon Express is near tops in quality. Most who have Rough Country or even Rusty's stuff are happy with it. Really just depends on your plans for usage, style and budget. Find a couple kits you like, research them here, do searches, ask questions.

Looks like the little white plastic seal on the end of your front axle tube is missing as well. I would stay away from deep water and mud if it is. almost looks like the gap is big enough in that pic that you could fit small rocks between that shaft and the tube!
Also your tire is obviously rubbing against your lower control arm. Im no expert in that area but maybe a wheel spacer could eliminate it.

It's rusty, that's for sure. I live in NE Iowa, and they love to dump salt on the roads. I also live on a dirt road, so some of the white stuff you see is grime from that.
I thought about wheel spacers to help eliminate the tire interference on the front control arms, but wasn't sure how they work. Do they reduce thread engagement on lug nuts? I also saw a modified control arm somewhere that was to eliminate the interference. I haven't done any searches yet on wheel spacers, so I'm sure I have quite a bit to learn. Thanks, Neil

you could build the s-10 or dakota bastard pack, or if that's too much work, you could look into rusty's for the best priced rear leaf packs.
If you put an aal on leafs with a negative arch will it hold up or will it flatten out really quickly as well?
