Some people dont like IRO longarms because they are the only ones that use the caster adjustment thing and one less upper arm, instead of two upper adjustable arms. Kind of like the RC Y link suspension without one of the upper arms. I dont like that either as it is a Ylink with only two frame mounting points and now on top of that it is missing an upper. But I dont have either so Im not saying there is a real issue here. Just what I heard people complaining about. I rather just get rock krawler three link and a JCR t case skid for belly protection.

wheel hard?

if so stay away from the longarms

cheesy caster adjuster bracket and still retains ONE stock size upper control arm bolt (hell even the stock application has 2 of them)

rubber bushings at every point on the axle= front end hop

you cant use it on anything other than a dana 30 ( i guess not an issue for many)

and its a radius arm.

I've read about a lot of people taking off one of the upper arms on the Clayton setup because of binding, with no ill affects of doing so. I plan on cutting off the ends of my bars and picking up some joints from ballistic, but I doubt I will need them. I don't plan on jumping my Jeep 4 feet in the air with my 2 year olds in the back.

Well the first and last time I ever went wheeling I blew the xj up. So the only thing I know about me and wheeling is that I need a fire extinguisher

I plan on buying a radius arm setup anyway. All I want to know from this whole thread is, can I add serious off road long arms to an IRO 5.5 and be happy and confident?
Or should I just pay more and get RE 5.5 add long arms and shut up

i would get everything as one kit or piece it all together.

no sense in buying 4 brand new shortarms if you dont plan on using them

I guess you love IRO for their customer service? Because they sure didn't MAKE those leafs and coils. They just shipped them to you.
