Finally Dash Lights!!!!!!
Well i have changed the bulbs. i have replaced the switch, i have replaced the fuse, I have even said my prayers and ate my damn vitamins! Still my dash lights were dead. i have been using a led head strap around the steering column for about 4 years. well i checked the right fuse this time.......and now i have dash lights......soooooo sweet!!!!!

yup professionally installed thru cartoys my lights were fine for about 6 months till i hit a large bump at 65 and then all interior died.

I bet they go out again.
I had the same problem in a 98 Cherokee that I bought. I'd replace the fuse, hit a bump and they'd go out again.
They'd work as long as I didn't hit a bump in the road.
The orange wire on the radio harness is on this same circuit. It's the radio dimmer wire. It makes the display dimmer when the dash lights come on.
Folks that work at stereo shops are rarely professionals... They're usually highschool kids that think they know what they're doing. If they didn't hook up that wire all it has to do is touch a ground and pops your lights. If it does it again I'd suggest that be the first place that you look.
