Why to avoid Rough Country
I originally purchased an 3 inch X series 2 lift, with full springs. Steering stabalizer, t-case drop kit. Everything was fine on my 2000 for the most part. Ryan chase says he cannot honor the warranty because I changed the part to my new jeep. But its bound to the vehicle its the part itself thats covered.
Game over.

But how do you figure out something is wrong 3 years later? Here's what their warranty covers for coils. Copied right from their site:

I just don't see how they can give you something free after so long you know? Their warranty doesn't cover that. You say everything was good on your old jeep so I don't see how now is messed up. You replaced the leaf springs right? You sure those aren't wrong?

Look...I am the first one to jump on the **** RC bandwagon...
That said, your argument doesn't hold water.
Admit defeat, man up, and finally buy a quality product from a reputable vendor.
This is one of the very few cases I've seen where I'll actually side with RC.
Other than that they can go pound sand.

If you're so confident, stop bothering peeps on the interwebz and just take them to court. Not RCs fault your new ride has worn out suspension and shakes like a cat ****ting razor blades.

It was said that they sent me the wrong part, so what if it took 3 years for me to investigate and find it was the wrong part. I've spent close to $1000 with this company, all my parts have been RC, I've recommended them to everyone who asks and it just sucks that this is happening over a set of coils. Im not looking to profit, just get what I paid for.

Yes, the sent me the wrong coils, but because I had not noticed the severity of the front lift until I put them on my 93 I did not complain. But I am entitled to a replacement, I can wait 4.5 years and if something is wrong their warranty states that I can get a replacement. Im offering to send them back for them to assess or what not. I cant pay for new coils + new alignment all over again.
To answer the other fellow who said I cant wait 3 years to complain,
its a 5 year warranty. I have 5 years to file a claim, here is my claim, just because I did not notice it sooner does not mean it is not present.

Your coils are perfectly fine which is what the warranty covers. Sorry they didn't work for you on the 2nd vehicle, and if there WAS a problem with the coils themselves I'm pretty sure your warranty would be honored.
I'm not trying to argue the point, just playing devils advocate and presenting their point of view for you to consider.
On another note, cut a coil off those springs and put them back on. Good to go

I am not saying there is anything wrong with the spring, its doing its job. It is the wrong height. I went over the number of coils on the spring with Chris, and he told me that is not the 3 inch spring. I daily this jeep and many people have pointed out that the nose is higher than the rear, it wasn't even my own discovery, I thought THIS was normal, the guys who did the lift said it was normal because cherokees come with a lower front end. It was day to day reminders that something is wrong that made me look into it.

Let's look at it this way. If you brought me a jeep to put a lift on and you leave a happy customer with said jeep, then 3 years later come back with a different Jeep stating the coils are wrong and asking for free new parts, I'd show you where the door is. See how that looks? Skettcccchhhhyyyyy. And I do everything to avoid rough country's garbage. But they're not wrong here.

Guy calls up company. Says he received the wrong product three years ago. Never noticed until now. Has been happily using product for three years. Now demands free product be sent to him.
Yeah, we'd hang up on you, too.
You haven't even said why you think they're "wrong".
