Seems to me then, that after a forum has been online for a year or so that every question worth asking has already been asked and the forum can be shut down. I get a kick out of so called experts on forums. They tell you to use the search function, but most of the search functions on these sites suck and don't give you any good results. Then when you luck out and find what you're looking for, you do your reading and you might want to see if there is any new info because the thread is a year old. So you post in the old thread and get flamed for bringing back an old thread or you start a new one and get flamed for not using the search function. I'm new to this forum and have learned a ton from reading and not doing too much posting. But, I'm not new to the internet or forums in general. I've learned that it's not that hard to skip over threads that I'm not interested in. I agree that people should try to search first or at least look down the page to see if your question has already been posted today. But don't flame them for asking a question. Provide a link to a thread that would be helpful or don't post at all and move on. End of rant. Thank you for your time.

I think its funny when people think a forum should run like a business. This isnt a government job where you follow orders, act courteous, answer questions, and look for more work to do. This if a forum of people who like jeeps and who come here on their free time to have a little fun, meet some friends with common interests, and share and trade helpful information they've found or discovered that might help others. Not a jeep help hotline where we're all paid to give the information we know out and help others for a profit, we do it for the hell of it. So would everybody please shut the hell up about how you "dont like how the forum works"? If you dont like it take your *** somewhere else, no ones making you stay a member of this forum. Dont let the door hit ya on the way out.

how do you think those questions got to google in the first place? people asking.

Yes, people asking questions. You know whats not helpful? When people who actually search try to find the information they're looking for, but instead find 50 million unanswered threads because everyone is tired of answering the same questions. Which would have all been avoided should they have searched just a LITTLE bit and found a thread where the same question had already been asked, then answered in which they themselves could contribute to once they're finished with it.

Did you even read past the first sentence of my post? Or was it too long for you to comprehend?
