Unfortunately I wasn't old enough to buy (or drive) an XJ new when they were in production but I did buy mine when it had 50k miles on it. New enough right? And I have the window sticker and factory manuals for it

She was my first car.
I miss her so much that I'm buying another XJ now.

The carbed 2.8 (e2se in ca bought units, 2se in 49 staters) is a gutless, oil leaking dog of an engine i will admit, but like most chevys it will get you home on 4 or 5 cyls! Try that with the 4.0!
