A police xj gets smashed by a wrecking ball in Gone in 60 Seconds. Its in the chase scene toward the end when Nicholas Cage is running from the cops in Eleanor. (BTW, love that movie. You know, except for that part.)

 

Ive seen a couple on tv. I am an EMT and there was a picture in my class book of a upside down cherokee. I felt bad for it :'(

I've been keeping up with this one.

 

Was watching an episode of Walker Texas Ranger. The bad guys doused a XJ with gas, tied the steering wheel, put a brick on the throttle, dropped it into gear and torched it. It was headed straight for the house Chuck was holed-up in with his pals. Chuck saw it coming and shot one front tire which made it turn away. All the while I was figuring that even if he missed the tire, if it hit a bump then DW or bump-steer would have sent it careening off to one side or another anyway! Naturally, Chuck got 'em all one by one, but he did an especially good job on the dude that torched the XJ. Thanks Chuck, you made him pay dearly for his crime against Jeep nation!
