The section of the console around the auto shifter pops up to reveal a nice little compartment... Small things have been stored behind the horn button...

well if your hiding some "protection" then dont put it there, the trans tunnel definitely gets hot. Just keep them in the glovebox, maybe put them in the manual. But whatever you do DO NOT KEEP THEM IN YOUR WALLET. I've actually got a friend who made that mistake.

Whats the big deal in hiding them? I keep a box next to my bed... lol
But really, just keep them in the glove box, or under the rear seat on the drivers side.

lol well honestly if you're single I would just put them in the glove box. If not i can understand you hiding them but if you're single a girl will understand, probably even respect you for being safe.

lol... Do you plan on doing it in the jeep often?
Would be kinda awkward to be somewhere else and have to say "just a minute, I have to run out to the jeep..."

Recovery gear... teeheehee....
sorry.

Why not just keep them in your closet/nightstand drawer, etc.. and put 1 in your pocket in the event you may get lucky.
You can always just stop at the gas station and buy a soda (and grab a 3 pack) if the night looks good and you're going parking/camping/etc..
