... to buy the stuff for your build? I've been searching around JCWhitney and Quadratec, but from I can tell Quadratec is expensive and JCWhitney is sort of generalized (being that they sell stuff for every vehicle, so they aren't focused on one thing so much)
Where does CF go to shop for their build?

Ebay! Lol

All over really. A bunch have been previously mentioned but I usually try and get direct from whoever makes the product. The vendors here on the forum have a TON of cool stuff and great prices too so be sure to check there first. That's what I do.

Vendor forum for speciality items like fabricated stuff. Anything else I use Amazon for because they have tons of reviews on products. I usually do a quick Google of the part number after deciding which brand to go with to find the cheapest option. 9 times out of 10 Amazon will have the cheapest part listed either from them or from a vendor that sells on that site. Free shipping is always a bonus too if you're a prime member or overnight Saturday delivery for $8 per item.

Craigslist, pull-a-part, Serious Offroad, Randy's Ring and Pinion, DIY4X, JCR, 4 Wheel Parts (their local store, I dont get much from them online), local parts stores, and my favorite local scrap yard (they sell new steel for things I want to build myself).
