Should of went with napa man! Haha. I'm not sure about that transmission mount but I used an anchor one and had to replace it because it was terrible and made vibes in gear so bad. Not sure about the anchor motor mounts but some people above seem to like it. If they are anything like the transmission mount though I would avoid anchor

 

PS. Why did you order these online when you can head to any parts store to get them?

ONLY if the item is defective. Don't abuse this system or they'll flag your account. Too many returns and Amazon has been known to ban accounts. Returns for items that you simply don't need or don't like still cost money to return.

 

Anchor motor mounts lasted less than six months on my 1996 XJ. The sleeve is encased in very little rubber. Large gap between rubber and shell. Omix-ADA is better constructed. I have not seen the DEA brand to make a comparison.

 

What about Rukse mounts? They are $54 shipped.

Man just head to napa or order some brown dogs. They are the same price but the napas are oem style. They are quality. Don't take gambles from ebay.

 

Problem is that NAPA carries Anchor brand. I'm sure they offer alternatives as well. I get the Omix-ADA mounts for $12 - $15 each, shipped free if you find the right vendor.

 

No they have their own brand called drive tech. Superb quality

 

What's the review on brown dogs? I heard they last but won't stop the cabin vibration.

I ran the anchor brand for far more than 6 months on mine. Good batch for me I suppose. After replacing them, I hadn't needed to replace them for at least 2 more years before I traded my XJ for the JK.

Where did you find a set of these? I come up empty when looking for a 99XJ with the 4.0.

 

They were probably easily found when this thread was started 9 yrs ago. These days I'd guess either Rock Auto if anywhere assuming they're still produced.
