Install a gun rack in your rig and you may find a peace loving anti-gun liberal throwing a brick through your windshield.

Yeah....we all should think how what we might do to a vehicle might offend someone else before we do it. Wouldnt wanna ruin a liberal's day or anything.

thanks for the link that's the rack im looking for. walmart does not have it that's the first place i went then kmart.
im actually going on a fishing trip and thought the gun rack would be a nice fishing rod holder. last fishing trip i had to tie on the top of the roof rack and my buddy lost his fishing pole some where on the express way. the roof gun rack is not bad idea but with the over head console and sound bar behind the front seats won't probably work. my '98 xj back windows are tinted and they pretty dark. i got a machete and hatchet in my xj i'll throw that back at their window lol.

If you're only going to be using them for fishing rods you might want to look into other options. These are a little more expensive but those are what I use for my rods, they work really well. Only thing is they can only hold up to 4 rods but the rods don't shift around at all.

i used some metal clamps got from wal mart there like 1-3 buks each or less. some self tapping screws and ur in biz.
mounted to side plastic molding in rear cargo area. just watch out for any wiring behind cover, if you have the sound bar.

wow that is a good mod!^^ i like the idea how the pole is tuck into the plastic trims and not sticking out and in the way. thanks for the idea sir!! i can mount one fishing rod on each side of the trims. i don't like the suction cup holder cuz during hot summer months those suction cups will fall off cuz of the heat and won't stick on good. i'm still ordering the gun racks. they are useful to hang other stuff too other than fishing rods.
