Default When is enough, enough??

I have a 96 XJ and was wondering when I should cut it loose and build my other 2000.
It is a 96, 4 door. The suspension is all worn out, the steering sucks, rust has taken a cancerous hold over it. The floors are gone, rockers are beat and look like swiss cheese. I broke the rear hatch in half in a rock race, so bad it popped the glass out on the track(glass didn't break though) The floor, tank, and all has been pushed up about an inch or so, so the hatch would never close even if I changed it out. The drive train is all still strong even though it has 205,000 miles on it.

In your opinions should I scrap it and build the other or just keep plugging away at this trail rig?

sounds like a rust bucket. drive it til it falls apart, then part it out or buy another cheap jeep and swap stuff over

If you do decide to build your 2000 at least take that one out with a bang. Go jump that sucker until it folds like a taco.

Keep it as a trail rig, or park it. I plan to always keep my cherokee.

Drive her till she dies, then trailer it home and drop it in the backyard. Never abandon your little girls.

Unless you want it intact to take parts off, I'd wheel the **** out of it until it breakes...then I'd jump it!
