i'm sure i'm not the only one who's named his XJ. So post up your rigs nickname and the story behind it. I call mine "The Red Rhino." Red obviosly cuz it's red, and rhino because i have a 2" receiver on the front bumper and a put a tow hook into it and my girlfriend said, "it looks like a rhino now." so a name was born.

 

Chery is just a name that came to me when I thought I was gonna break something major, just found myself calling her that.

 

Mine is Brutus. Because he is a brute lol

 

named her squirt because my back window washer is broken off and when i press the wash button on my dash it shoots a stream of water out the back of the jeep. i like to squirt people just before the light turns green then take off while they are left there trying to figure out what the heck just happened.

 

I work as a mailman for the United States Postal Service so I ended up naming my XJ "Gone Postal". I figured thats what I'm going to do if I ever roll my Jeep over or worst get it STOLEN

 

mine is named Dixie Christine after a close friend growing up that was a true southern girl that liked to go out and get dirty on the trails with me

she also goes by the punisher because i have had several people pull out in front of me or back into her and mess their cars up pretty bad and didnt mess up my xj

 

SCARFACE, two reasons I found a when I first got it and was cleaning it out Tony Montana Figure under the center console. and the front in its missing the grill and about half the hear panel, and headlight doors.

 

My ol girls name is christine.. no particular reason just sounded good

 

Cheap Turkey......because when I ask my 2 year old son to say Jeep Cherokee...it came out "Cheap Turkey"!!! haha

I call mine Chery, Just cause it's short for Cherokee, and sounds sexy as Cherokee's are. I always find myself sweet talking her when I get below 1/4 tank, she doesn't like that. And also after I fill up cause she runs so much better on a full stomach.... I know I sound stupid, but I'm afraid if I don't talk to her, she'll break down out of spite!!!

 

My friends started calling mine Hero because im the only one with a winch and lockers so therefore am usually the one that gets called to pull people out. Soon after they started calling it that, i decided to take some letters off the stock Cherokee stickers on the side
