I care about ramp scores because it helps me to determine shock length, limit strap length, where to trim for big tires, where to bump stop, ect......not the actual score, but the ramp does. My ''poser shots'' are usually done to determine these things.
Only reason I care about mine as well. Ramps scores don't say anything about offroad capability really. Yeah you may be able to flex a lot, but that doesn't mean your rig is a beast off the pavement. My ramp score showed where I was limiting my flex (shocks) so now I know what needs to change.

How is the ramp scored? What are the parameters?

Since this thread is about the actual scores, I figured ill go ahead and throw my wheelbase out there since that is factored in when figuring out the rti score.

I got a 618 score with a 3inch lift and addons.

My shocks are rancho 2.5" lift ones, so that's a big losing factor.

I don't know what my score is cause the ramp isn't long enough. Drive off the other end of it every time...

Yea they wanted 2 Jeeps up on the ramp by the road to bring more people in and it falls out already so I just laid it against the tire

I don't get it. What's the point of having your coil fall out?

Is there an advantage that I'm not aware of?

His rig is pretty beast off the pavement. He had to swap all the parts onto this shell since the unibody was toast on his old one.

theres these neat little things called coil retainers and limit straps, you should look into them.

Thats the first time it has flexed that far so I've never really had the problem with the coil falling out on the trail.

984 with a 2.5in lift and stock short arms. 20degree ramp.

Will do it again november 3rd when I have access to the ramp.

Goal this time is 1100.

WB is stock also. I don't really care about flex that much. But a little sure helps.

What I can't understand is why rti does not take into consideration track width?

A wider track width is going to score better on an rti. I say this and my track width is about a foot narrower than most modified xj's.
