I always used valvoline. But I was just wondering what everyone's fav gear oil is

 

Lucas. Stuff just brought my Subaru back to life.

 

don't really have a favorite, I'll typically use synthetic though... I haven't changed my gear oil since I bought my xj over a year ago...

I'd be interested to see what people favor in this thread and probably go that route

 

I just ask because my rear diff is leaking really bad so I bought a new one so I'm gonna have to replace the oil and I'm in fl so I go in the water a lot

 

My fav gear oil?, evidently, none, I was able to pour and entire container in my diff this morning and it still didn't fill it up, been running it a couple thousand miles that way, those Chrysler 8.25's are tough.

 

Yeah. They for sure are. I was just wondering is it worth paying the big money for a certain brand
