I find XJ's like this one for sale all the time. I find it hard to believe the prices being asked. The owner of this 2000 wants $7,250.00. It has 4" lift, 33x12.5x15 Baja Claw tires,Eagle alloy wheels, 4.10 gears, grille guard, trimmed fenders, lowerd trans case, tinted windows, new tranny service, and side steps(not installed included)with 168,000 miles. THE ? THOUGH IS WHAT WOULD YOU GIVE FOR IT?

They have added up the retail price of every mod on it and expect to get that back when they sell it.

If it's lifted chances are it has been beat on off road and the price should reflect that. Even if the body is good the engine has probably been pushed pretty hard.

 

very true. around here it wouldn't go for more than 3 grand. and that's if it has NO rust.

 

If somethings already modded, and theyre selling it, chances are youre buying someones else's problems.
I like buying stock vehicles and adding/doing mods myself. So that way I know what to expect, if anything.

And yeah...even for $2500 I wouldnt have looked at that.

 

3500 to 4500 where i live.

And that is if there are no leaks and body and interior is in great condition.

 

Yea, I agree with the buy stock and mod it yourself thats half the fun. I just cant believe what xj's are going for here. Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri.
