What's it worth?
Ya, another one of these threads...
I'm faced with a decision that is hard to make, but stock XJ's are easy to come by and I may end up having to let mine go in order to get my business back up and running.
215K miles
91 XJ 4.0, AW4, 231, Non-Disco d30, 27spl 8.25, Centerline Hellcat wheels, 33x12.5-15 Maxxis Bighorns, 3" lift, trimmed fenders, A-pillar lights, and snorkel.
Would come with an extra engine (complete intake-oilpan with accessories), trans, t-case, ecu, driveshafts, new waterpump not installed yet, stock steel wheels with 225/70 street tires, a set of 235/75 Goodyear wrangler radials, and if buyer wanted, a set of 79 Bronco Axles (complete hub-hub and drum-drum), and a set of 15x8 2.5BS steelies with 5x5.5 bolt pattern...
I have seen XJ's in similar, or worse, condition to mine with the same upgrades, except maybe a lunchbox locker in the rear, sell for $4,500-$5000... I don't expect mine to fetch quite that much, but I was thinking maybe $3500-$4000?

Maybe. Depends on how much value someone see's in the extra parts.
Just start higher than you want so they can talk you down, but not too high that it'll scare em off.

I can't see more than $1500 or so. Frankly I don't think you could even part it out for $3-4k around here and XJs tend to be a bit overpriced here. Even blue book value is around $1500 and blue book tends to be high on XJs.
Regardless if $3-4k is going to make or break your business it's probably not a realistic investment.
