All depends on how much you wish to spend and how fussy on ride comfort you are really, i personally have 3" rough country and am more than pleased with it.
However many will tell you it's a hard ride Bla Bla Bla!

the best thing to do is compile various parts and make your own lift to fit your own needs. if you dont know what your needs are, get a reasonable starter kit that you can easily add more parts to later

Well I would like to build my own I don't have the time and I was looking into a rough country lift. I don't really care about how bumpy and rough it is and I don't have the biggest budget

Well I doubt your going to be building your own coils, leafs, or shocks..

If your considering Rough Country..then you are considering about the farthest thing from "Best" there is.

I think Rough Country is a good lift kit. I run the 6.5 inch lift from them.

You also can't beat the price, or the warranties.

XJ's have a unibody and therefore no separate frame.

I checked out the iro and it looks pretty good. I think it's a body lift but I'm not sure. It's just the xj 3" lift kit.
