I run cepec crushers in a 33/12.5 and I LOVE THEM.... I daily drive my xj every day and I wheel her hard on the weekends... I'm open diff front and rear and I can go through things I shouldn't..... I have 10k miles on them and you can't tell I have any mileage on them and there isn't much road noise

I love the mastercrafts... they have a 50k treadware, and perform similarly to the BFG except they're better in mud imo. Great tire for a much better price.

I hate my bfg at's...they suck in snow/ice, and winter up here is like 7-8 months long... I want duratracs next! Seen hotshot/delivery trucks that have them that run through my shop. I asked one fella how felt about them on his 3/4t Chevy..." I'll never go back to bfg's..." My .02
For mud you need lugs. For snow you need siping. The idea is that the lugs grab and throw the mud, moving you through it. The siping is more about friction: when driving in winter the little slits- sipes- pack with snow, when the snow packed sipes make contact with the snow on the ground they basically form a bond due to the pressure. This bond is the afore mentioned friction I was referring to. That friction translates into grip. That's why your not supposed to spin excessively in snow. The DuraTrac's have good aggressive lugs for an A/T and insane siping for anything other than a winter tread!!
Edit- oh yeah, the DuraTrac's are studable if you wanted to make them a little more winter worthy!!!

They're beast on the pavement. really quiet, good wet handling, low wear. I've got 32k ish on em- pavement, dirt, snow, mud, rocks. They take me where I need to go. And as for snow? Haha. Idk if you'll get a better A/T or M/T with this much siping.
