I think i might be doing the ZJ tie-rod swap. You could get new speakers, you might be able to replace some bushings, replace one shock.. or two depending on who/where you buy from. Other junkyard mods maybe..maybe a skid plate?

Basically it's a toggle switch that when flipped complete a ground path via the PCM that causes the idle to RPM to rise to about 1000. this increases the output of the alternator.

It was a feature in police XJ's to keep the alternator output higher for running emergency lights, etc.

It only works when the tranny is in park.

Great for when you're winching.

Jumps your rpm's up to around 1k, helps when you're sitting for a bit running electronics or winching. They came standard on most government bid XJ's

Works in Neutral too. I planned on using it for my OBA.

It's common on the police package cherokees. It's a switch normaly it's where the factory fog light swith is. It brings the idle rpm a bit higher for heavy loads on the battery.

My neighbor has a police package cherokee with the idle switch.

Only reason I know about it.

The home brew roof rack is around 50-60 bucks. Do a search of it, lots of guys here have made one and they look great.
