Um . . . maybe, I was kind of hoping someone else would chime in here. Some of them come with plastic pullies (so I've heard), so you may want to put a new pulley on whatever pump you find (which requires a special tool, but I think most auto stores rent them). And also try to find one with a reservoir, its just easier. Are you going to the after market or the junkyard market?

EDIT: Oh and if you are going to the JY, I THINK '88 to '95 fits, but PLEASE don't take my word on that.

You also may want to post the specific ps question here: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/

You'll get a lot more knowledgeable eyes looking at it.

went to a JY today, no jeeps (cept an old Wagoneer). going to more tomorrow. pulley seems okay, pump is leaking from bottom. change out for a JY version, do I need to keep the old pulley? Cant i just swap the whole thing? Heard about the pulley puller...

Pulley can be a pain- especially on an older one (rusted in place pretty good). Easiest option is to find one from a JY with reservoir and pulley in place- if the JY requires a core then take off your reservoir and pulley before you give them back the old one. Spare parts are cool. ;-)
