that dana 35 front would have me turn and run the other way. lol.
seriously tho, if you like the paint job, go have a look at how well the fab looks on the rear axle swap and long arms setup.
if he meant d30 front, it will have different bolt pattern front to rear, and those tires don't look very healthy either.
check it out to make sure it's not a hack job. especially the width of the rear axle, it must've been narrowed to match the d30.
do what you want, but i would pass and just build up your jeep if it has no problems. suspension is easy, electrical gremlins are not.
good luck with your decision.

Could be a 9" out of a car which has the 5x4.5 bolt pattern but the small bearings and came with 28 spline axles. Ton of lift for such a small tire. And about 2k more than I'd pay for it.

I obviously haven't seen it personally but by the pics and info looks like a hack job. in my opinion i wouldn't do the ford 9" rear. if I were to upgrade the axles I would do both and prolly do Dana 44's or maybe an 8.8 rear. the paintjob in my opinion is a hotrod job and an xj is not a hotrod. the yokohamas are a poor excuse for an offroad tire. When I bought my xj, It was already built. there was stuff I didn't like about it but I said" easy enough, I'll just fix that stuff" 2 years later I still find stupid sh** that had been done to it. my best advice that other people had said is, see if you can talk him down to like 3500 or less and otherwise, just build your own. another piece of advice, if you have to ask if it's the right one, it prolly isn't. when you come across a rig built or not and you just "have to have it", that's the right one.

I'd leave it alone. Yours is okay and you can build. I wonder where he got the limited slip in an XJ D35 front. Makes me wonder about other things like caged said. 6.5" lift with 32" all terrains ain't much of a rock crawler on 15x10 wheels. Not much to air down. Keep yours, do an 8.8 swap, beef up the 30. Stay away from that thing.

Yep, leave it alone. You can find very nice 97+ rigs for $5k. Looks beat to **** and he knows it and is wanting to pass it along to someone else to have a headache.

Yea. I haven't had much experience with the 9" only one guy I no has one around me and he must have the weak car version your talking bout cuzz it seems like junk. The axles aren't the biggest problem anyways. I wouldn't buy that jeep unless he talked the guy down ALOT!
