A girl I work with has a 99 xj sport 4x4 in the amethyst blue with 175k. From what she says it has a great interior but drivers side has slight body damage. No fender flares and drivers fender has dent near turn signal. She wants $1k for it. My questions are:

1- is this a good deal on price?
2-what should I be concerned about, I know to check fluids and 4x4, what else?

I wouldn't hesitate to buy for 1k. If she hasn't trimmed her fenders you should be able to easily replace factory flares or upgrade even

 

Check the floorboards! Don't know where this is but check for rust.

$3000 to get it sorted out? What would I need to look for? Apparently no fenders on drivers side because of an accident, same accident also did damage to drivers front fender. It's been just sitting for a while. I'm waiting on her to email me pictures and when she does I will post them. Thanks again for the help.

 

It might cost that much if you want a perfect stock jeep. But who wants that?
