So I finally was ready to pull the trigger on new tires for my 88 build. I had my heart set on nitto mud grapplers- went to order and... no longer in production. FINE! So I did more research and settled on the super swamper tsl sx's....out of production! I talked to the guy at 4wheelparts and he said that they are having trouble getting any tires lately.. Very frustrating! So I settled on my last resort- hankook mt.. not exactly what I wanted but I know they are a good tire. Dang economy and high oil prices!

 

Are they made in Japan?

 

Had the same problem when i was in the tire market only they dont make Yokahama Geolanders MT anymore..Went with BFG KM2's and no regrets..Try DiscountTireDirect I beleive they have them Hankooks..880 to the door on the KM2's...Gave my son a set of 35's for the same price..

 

Might want to check out the American Farmer 12.5L15 traction implement. They are a 6ply V-tread VERY flexible at 15psi. They measure out to 34x12.5x15 and they are last I checked under $100 each. One heck of an offroad tire but they are strictly offroad only. I have them on 4.5" lift with room and it is UNSTOPABLE as long as your not pushing too much muck with the pigs. I have pulled out a 4door diesel on 40" tires with these tires! I will try to get pictures of my xi posted later this week
