4psi and I run that on the street as well. You can only get away with it with bias tires plus they're 38s.

I run about 25-26PSI in my 34x12.5's (on 8" rim width) on the street, been as low as 10PSI offroad (sketchy feeling on the street though to get home).

I had a set of 36" Military tires from my Suburban that you could essentially pull the valve core out and you'd almost never know they had no air in them.. (while parked, not driving) lol.

Guess you're talking about the GY MT OZs. They had 10 ply sidewalls and you couldn't get them to wrinkle with 0psi on a tank. I used to have several sets of them as well as the 37s. Fine for a cheap mud tire but way heavy and I'm not a fan of 16.5" wheels.

Yep those would be them! I got them for free from a buddy when he was scrapping his 86 F250. Definitely not the greatest tire but better than the bald BFG AT's that came on my Burban. Haven't decided what to do with them or even what they're worth (not much) now that XJ fever and sold the truck.. lol.

my 2 cents....google 'chalk test for tires" i used this to find a good psi for my brand new 32' 11.50 15 bfg km2's (street driving conditions), what you do is take some chalk and draw a thick line across the tread of your tire, then drive 100 or so feet forward down the street (like in a parkinglot or down your neiborhood)and then pop her in reverse and go back 100 feet to were you started be sure to drive straight. after you do that hop out and look at your chalk line and you should have the chalk wearing evenly across the tire if chalk is gone in the middle but stills remains on the edges then take your psi down (tire is over inflated) and vise versa for under inflation. once the chalk wears evenly across the tread that psi should promote even wear i saw this in a magizine and tryed it so far it seems like it worked. i ended up at 3o psi and started at 35.. i think ill settle at 32??? at 35 psi cou could visually see the tread in the center contacting most it looks almost flush at 30 some people say this doesnt work and so on but it makes sense to me im very picky on caring for the $1000 tire investment lol im going to keep an eye on them just incase.... any other tips?

I run 40psi on 10 ply 32's. Tried the 25 psi. Were not wearing correctly and made the mpg noticably worse.
