Default What size pin/bolt for removable doors

What size pins or bolts did you guys use to make your doors removable? I have a 2000 and can't find one that quite fits

3/8th should work for you.

But you may have to drill out the holes.

You think if you drilled out the hole and put bolts in the same size this could help with the problem of not having the bushing pin in there anymore. Mine got pulled out when removing doors and now it saggs a bit. I also have a 93?

I have a 2000 as well and am wanting to make the doors removable when I feel like it. What do you have to do to make that possible. I have a buddy that has his 97 I know they are different hinges and he takes his off all the time.

I looked at the hinge and it looks like I would have to cut either the top and bottom of the pin that drops down in there or something. And than the pin behind it looks like it may have to come out.

Run a google search for 2000 XJ removable door mod. You'll find out how.

I ended up using 5/16 grade 8 bolts 3 inches or 3 1/2 long and you just cut the bolt with the plastic around it then pop it out repeat for the top and bottom hinges for each door and unplug your electrical begin both kick panels and pull with door there's 3 on driver side and 4 on passenger and make sure to unscrew the unplug the dome light switch thing it's the little black thing that when your door is open and no weights on it your dome light will come on and you'll wake up with a dead battery
