What should i sell it for?
Im considering selling my XJ for a truck. Wanted to get some input from you all on what you think i can sell it for, here's the details: Overall still a stong Jeep, i was thinking 3,000...
1992 XJ
4.0 242
4x4
Manual Trans
153,000 miles
The Good:
rebuilt the motor at 130,000
new exhaust manifold
new brakes on all 4 at 140,000
oil pressure perfect
good off road tires with plenty of tread left
hardly any rust on body
The Bad:
leaking coolant from 1 freeze plug
a few dents, dings, and bondo in one spot
no headliner
parking brake doesnt work, 250.00 to fix, just havent done it

X3. With the freeze plug issue I'll be shocked that you might get $1500. I just paid that for my 97 with no dents and a perfect interior.

depends on where you live. around here, i would pay about 800 for a vehicle in the shape that you described.
there are areas where you will get about 2k for it.
