Wheeled pretty hard last weekend and pinched my fender pretty good, just want to try and make it look a little better. I didn't just want to start beating on it and make it worse. Thanks for the input

look for a replacement, cuz you won't be able to get that back to perfect without the skills.
a little bit better is still dented, and it will bug the chit out of you if it already does.
or just leave it, a new one will likely get dented also, if you wheel it often.

dent the other side to match
IMO Id leave it. Its a jeep, thats going off road. If you want to fix it, you might be able to hammer is out with a rubber mallet and a backer piece. Or why not just goto local junkyard and pick one up?

Its hard to tell the depth of it from the pic due to it being white....but I would give it a firm hit or 2 from behind it with a rubber mallet. It should knock the majority of the dent out, but you will still have some waves or lines where the intial dent creased.
IF it reall bothers you, you might can pull the fender off and hammer the back side with a 2x4 on it try to get the flatness out, but once agin it will never look like it was before the dent.

I took a further look and think i will give it a few smacks and call it the day. Its a trail rig and it will most likely happen again. I plan on getting the whole body line-x'd any way so before i do that ill run to the junkyard and grab a new fender. In the mean time ill just do what i can and live with it. Im scratching the hell out of the old paint anyways

Call me crazy, but I like the look of a well used 4x4 with Rubicon Rash on the fenders. Don't look at them as dents, but as memories of wheeling fun.

I did that on my passenger fender recently too.. along with the back of both front fenders lol, personally I haven't worried about mine, as she's usually muddy and looks used!
