my xj didnt come with a hitch on it and i want to add one. i want one that tucks up really high. on my 97 powerstroke i put a curt hitch on and all you can see is the 2 inch reciever that sticks below the bumper and would like something like that for my cherokee if possible? what hitchs do you guys run? any advice would be appreciate and pictures are even better

 

I just recently put on a Curt class III. Works for me.

I hit up the local JY and got a factory hitch. It cost me an extra $20 to have it cut off because the bolts refused to come loose. Still $35 total wasnt bad.

 

Picked mine up $40 from my friend.

 

i was just looking under my jeep and theres no way that it can really tuck up there so im just assuming there all about the same? and crawlinpepper didnt you say you had to shim out your bumper?

 

They are mostly the same, but some are hidden and some aren't. There's always a way to "tuck it up there" because they all bolt to the same place
