3=Friends that say "will you take payments"
4=I will trade you this vehicle plus cash "If im selling,why do I want another one"
5=Can you send me pictures of every nut and bolt and scratch

I recently sold my 98 Eclipse GSX that had a 3" CATLESS downpipe and exhaust meaning it would not pass inspection. The buyer wanted me to pay to have it "inspected" by a shop and slip his friend of a friend of a friend an extra $65 for them to pass it illegally. I was like ummm no, I'm good. If you want it inspected you can get it done yourself and pay someone off to pass it. Which he did lol.

 

They automatically want to drop $500 off of the asking price because of the little scratch next to the lock cylinder on the drivers door.

 

almost the same, but im selling my old phone on ebay cuz i just got a new one. and some dude asked me if i would let him pay only 55 for it. like end the auction and let him send me $55 dollars through paypal. and i was like nooooooo. Its a droid so its worth some more than 55. Also the last guy who tried to buy it tried to get me to send it africa.

 

I sold a show truck to a guy and he called and sent me emails with questions up to 6 months after he bought the truck. I finally stopped answering him.

 

When 14 year olds send you an email asking all about the vehicle, then they tell you to hold it for them for 2 years until they get their license.

 

people that tell you "this other guy has one just like this one in a little better shape for $500 less" and want you to match it....

if its just like this one and in better shape and cheaper why dont ya buy that one ???

I had a car up on Craigslist and was flooded with inquiries and several people saying they'd be over on a given day and time to look at it.

Did they ever show up? Of course not.

 

When they take it for a test drive roll it and then try to talk you down in price cause they didn't like how much rust was under it

 

I don't sell anything. When I'm finished with something, I usually have to pay someone to drag the carcass off.

 

 

People who make an offer and DON'T have the money. Why would someone make an offer who doesn't have the money? No $, don't respond to the ad. Simple.

 

I have quite a few for this one;

1. Offering me half of what I want right off the bat. How are you gonna automatically offer me 50% less then what I want. I usually go up in price from there.
2. Im currently trying to sell my XJ so I can buy a house. I had a guy offer me 2k because thats what KBB said its worth, of course they dont account for the lift, tires, shocks and upgrades... WTF?
3. Saying " I'll call you tomorrow " and never calling.... why dont you just tell me you dont want the damn thing.
4. taking my jeep to get inspected and not bringing it back till 8pm... where did it really go?? am I gonna be involved in a bank robbery?

Im sure there is more, but man, I hate people sometimes
