Default What to look for?

im going to look at a 98 4dr today.
im not very skilled with cherokees. what do i look for?
rust? leaks? weak motor?
anything that would help me make the best buying decision would be awesome

alot of under carriage rust is bad, may mean it was beat down offroading, also i know from experience. let the car run the whole time your checking it out to make sure it doesnt overhead (we all know how the coolant systems can be on these things) and dont forget to test the 4wd
